Dr. Grivas always knew he wanted to work in the medical field and care for patients. He studied at Southern Adventist University, where he became a Registered Nurse. He spent eight years working as a nurse before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Grivas has been practicing dentistry since October 2004. He has enjoyed working with Sacramento area patients to meet their dental needs. His kindness and desire to help others make Dr. Grivas a patient favorite, and he has developed lasting relationships with his patients and their families over many years.
Because he believes in providing patients with the most up-to-date, effective dental care, Dr. Grivas participates in regular continuing education courses, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies continuum, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation training, and Mercer University practice management training. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists.
Dr. Grivas has been recognized by the International Dental Implant Association for his continued dedication to the IDIA and was awarded Fellowship status within the organization. To reach this level of membership, Dr. Grivas demonstrated increasing proficiency in implant dentistry.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Grivas fell in love with Sacramento while attending Loma Linda University and decided to establish his practice here.
He is happily married to Rebekah, and they have two daughters.
